The core idea behind this installation was to infuse the traditional concert scene with modern technological elements, enriching the audience's experience. By synchronizing visual art with the live orchestral performance, the installation seeks to bridge the gap between the timeless beauty of classical music and the limitless possibilities of digital art.
Utilizing motion capture technology and visual software, I created three distinct visual sequences, each corresponding to one of the three acts of "Rigoletto." The visuals evolve fluidly in response to the conductor's gestures. It was designed to evoke a sense of wonder and excitement, highlighting some sort of bond between music and visual art.
One of the main challenges was ensuring the real-time synchronization of visuals with the conductor's movements, requiring meticulous calibration and testing. The result is a seamless blend of technology and artistry that enhances the traditional opera experience without overshadowing the music itself.
